Warranty Terms for Maki-e Watch

This Warranty Terms for Maki-e Watch (this Terms) applies to any sale of Maki-e Watches (the Watch) only, which terms supplements in relation to any sale of the Watch the Terms and Conditions generally applicable to sale of goods by Phoenix International Corporation (the Company) through its website (the General Terms).
In the event of any conflict or discrepancy between this Terms and the General Terms, the former shall prevail.

If, in the reasonable judgment of the Company, any of the following occurs and all the requirements stipulated herein have been fulfilled, the Company shall take the responses herein set forth, provided, however, that the Company shall not be liable for any indirect loss or damages arising from or in connection with any of the following cases; 

(1) Wrong Goods Delivery
(2) Delivery of Damaged Goods or Goods not Working Properly
(3) Spontaneous Breakdown within one year

Note: The User is kindly requested to check if the type of goods delivered is identical to your order and the goods works in order immediately after its delivery.

 

(1)Wrong goods Delivery

In the event of Wrong Goods Delivery, the User shall contact the Company by e-mail attaching the pictures of the Goods delivered in order that the Company identifies the delivered Goods within 14 days after its delivery.

If the Company accepts that there is reasonable possibility the Goods delivered was wrong and advise the User of such acceptance, the User shall deliver such Goods for collection to a courier service provider arranged by the Company at its cost.

If, in its sole and reasonable discretion, the Company accepts the claim hereunder after receiving the goods so collected, the Company shall re-ship the correct Goods bearing the re-shipping cost after confirming the arrival of the returned Goods to the Company, otherwise the Company shall re-ship the goods so collected to the User bearing the re-shipping cost.

 

 

(2) Delivery of Damaged Goods or Goods not Working Properly

The Company shall check the condition and operation of the Goods before packaging it for shipment.
However, in the case the User receives the Goods in damaged condition or the Goods which does not work properly at the time of receipt, the User shall contact the Company by e-mail attaching the clearest possible pictures and/or video of the damaged Goods or the Goods which had not worked properly and giving detailed explanation about the damage or the problem within 14 days after its delivery.

The Company shall, in its sole and reasonable discretion, determine whether the Goods had been damaged or had not worked properly prior to its delivery to the User.

If the Company accepts the delivered Goods to have been damaged or not to have worked properly prior to its delivery and advise the User of such acceptance, the User shall deliver such Goods for collection to a courier service provider arranged by the Company at its cost.


If, in its sole and reasonable discretion, the Company accepts the claim hereunder after receiving the Goods so returned, the Company shall re-ship the replacing Goods bearing the re-shipping cost after confirming the arrival to the Company of the returned Goods, otherwise the Company shall re-ship the goods so returned to the User bearing the re-shipping cost.

 

(3) Spontaneous Breakdown

Only in case the Goods ceases to work properly due to spontaneous breakdown of internal parts other than due to wear and tear within one year after delivery to the User of the Goods (the Warranty Period), the Company shall arrange for repair and adjustment free of charge.


In the case of claim for warranty hereunder, the User shall contact the Company by e-mail attaching the clearest possible pictures and/or video of the Goods which ceased to work properly and giving detailed explanation about the breakdown of the goods within 14 days after the User is aware of such breakdown, which shall in no event be later than 14 days plus one year from the delivery of the Goods. Also the User shall submit Warranty Certificate Number of the Goods included in the shipment of the Goods.

The Company shall, in its sole and reasonable discretion, determine whether the breakdown was spontaneous and it had occurred within the Warranty Period .


In the case the Company accepts spontaneous breakdown of the Goods and advise the User of such acceptance, the User shall deliver such Goods for collection to a courier service provider arranged by the Company at its cost.


If, in its sole and reasonable discretion, the Company accepts the claim hereunder after receiving the Goods so returned, the Company shall re-ship the fixed Goods bearing the re-shipping charge after confirming the arrival to the Company of of the returned Goods, otherwise the Company shall re-ship the goods so returned to the User bearing the re-shipping cost.

 

Cases Not covered by this Warranty

- Replacement of parts such as battery, belt, cover glass, crown and loop due to wear and tear
- Defects or damages due to wrong use or carelessness
- Defects or damages due to fire, flood, earthquake or other natural disasters etc.
- Defects or damages due to improper repairs or alternations
- Defects or damages due to battery replacement, repairs etc. by someone other than the original manufacturer
